About our exhibits

The collections of the Veteran History Museum of the Carolinas have been gathered over many years by our curators, Emmett Casciato and Tom Bugala. Their combined private collections provided the basis for the start of the Museum in 2017. However, many acquisitions and donations, especially by local veterans and their families have allowed for expansion of the collection and increased interest in the exhibits.

The flow of the museum allows visitors to walk through time beginning with WWI and ending with the current time. Each exhibit has an accompanying video playing in the background for those who wish to learn more about the history of that period. The exhibits are divided into the following collections:

wwii

Korean

VIETNAM

WAR ON TERROR
