Our Mission

The mission of the Veterans History Museum of the Carolinas is to honor our nation’s veterans, to educate the public about our country’s military history and the contribution of our service men and women, and to preserve important and unique historic artifacts. The Museum reflects a love of country and gratitude to those who serve it by remembering and celebrating their service.

We encourage individuals, organizations and school groups to visit our museum and immerse yourselves in the military history of our great nation. You will see rooms filled with artifacts and information for each of the wars beginning with WWI up to the present. We are conveniently located next to the Transylvania Court House in Brevard, NC at 21 East Main Street. In order to arrange a tour for your group we suggest you contact our founder and curator Emmett Casciato at 828 884 2141and reserve a date and time. For individuals, please feel free to visit us from Wednesday through Sunday. Our hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and Sunday from 1 PM to 4 PM. We think you will be glad you did.
