Lake Toxaway Charities

Lake Toxaway Charities was founded 45 years ago by a few generous residents who recognized the profound needs of our community at that time, as well as the anticipated needs of the future. They believed in the importance of charitable giving and support of our neighbors, knowing this to be a necessity for Lake Toxaway to continue to be the vibrant and special community that it remains. Because of our founders and your steadfast support, we are proud to report that LTC’s grants to local non-profit organizations have disbursed over $5,000,000 to date. Dragonfly Gallery

My passion for watercolor is ignited by the way the medium captures light.  The transparent washes create a luminosity found in no other medium.  I’m constantly challenged to discover the individual properties and individual “personalities” of the pigments and how I can create the cleanest, most striking combinations of light and color.  In my painting, I strive to see the true color in not only the objects, but in the shadows and reflections. Dragonfly Gallery is located at 72 South Broad Street, Brevard, NC 28712 Rebeccakahrs.com
