On Wednesday, July 24, at 6:00 pm,
the Veterans History Museum of the Carolinas will show the movie, Sink the Bismarck.
Admission is free.

It’s spring 1941. Great Britain is the only country in Europe yet to be defeated by the Nazi army, but all of that could change soon. The Nazis have launched their juggernaut battleship, the Bismarck, to close off British supply lines and ultimately invade England. A counterstrike is ordered, and with an arsenal of ships at their command, Royal intelligence officers Jonathan Shepard and Anne Davis fight desperately to destroy the Bismarck.

The film shows what went on deep beneath the streets of London in the Admiralty Headquarters during a time when England stood alone against the German Navy’s greatest battleship. Starring Kenneth More and Dana Wynter, it’s based on the suspenseful book by C.S. Forester.

Bring your family and friends to the Veterans History Museum of the Carolinas at 21 East Main Street (beside the courthouse) for free popcorn and an exciting, educational, and entertaining evening. Please call 884-2141 for more information.
